Is web hosting included?
The cost of your web hosting is not included in the cost and is not necessary to be purchased until the project as been completed and it’s time to migrate your website to your own web hosting solution.

We believe everyone deserves to have complete ownership of their web presence! Furthermore, not all web hosting companies are created equal and may not be within your budget. All plans include Hosting Consultation to ensure we help you find the right fit and web hosting solution for your website to call home.
Are domain names included with my plan?
The cost of your domain name is not. However, do not fret! Domain names are super affordable and it’s okay if you have already 1 (or more). We will help you understand and purchase your domain name(s).

Furthermore, all plans include Domain Name(s) Consultation to help you secure your domain name, recommended domain names, and redirect all domain names to a single domain name to direct traffic accordingly.
What if I already own a domain name, can I use it for my Website?
Yes, come as you are – we are flexible and seek to empower you. If you already have a domain we can use that for you as desired.

Can I get my own personalized email addresses using my domain name?
The short answer is, “Yes we can!”

All plans include Email Consultation to help configure existing email or setup new business email account(s) with the email provider you are most familiar with to avoid a learning curve for you and your team. Some common examples for business emails are Google and Microsoft Outlook.
What about website security?
Great question! Countless times have we noticed when some one goes to purchase web hosting from trusted providers. The attempt to upsell on email, domain name, and others items but never once have I experienced them upselling or cross selling website security 🥴.

We believe security is a must have whether you have a single page website promoting business services or a multi-page website with e-commerce capabilities for purchasing of product or services.

All plans include Security Consultation where we educate and consult on security related items such as what is an SSL and options for both internal and external website security to protect your investment.
How much does it cost and how are payments made?
All plans have their own starting project cost for the creation of the website. We have add-on services which would increase the project cost due to the labor involved. We provide enterprise level add-on services for:

  • Website Maintenance

Payments are accepted electronically and are based on the agreed upon pay-as-you-go structure prior to starting the project. Depending on the plan you choose, your budget, and overall project cost. The agreed upon pay-as-you go structure could be payments made in halves, thirds, fourths, and so on with project deliverables shared with you at project milestones which adheres to our 5’s process: Discover, Define, Delight, Design, and Deploy.
What are the benefits of pay-as-yo-go when it comes to cost?
Though the outcome of what we will create together may seem like magic 🧞‍♂️. Your website and branding is not created within a blink of an eye by means of few Gen AI tools or a magic wand 🪄.

Because of these simple truths we provide pay-as-yo-go options so you benefit by:

  1. Not paying in full – We understand that creating things of importance take time and careful attention. Breaking up the payments allows you time to be sure you are getting what you paid for versus paying all at once.
  2. Doing things in iteration – Creating anything correctly is a process. Paying as you go will allow you to appreciate the creation process and care invested in the creation of your website and branding. Furthermore, iteration provides space and grace for us to educate you along the way and room for you provide feedback and more.
  3. Payment schedule transparency – The project payment schedule follows our 5’s process and is divided based the agreed upon pay-as-you go structure of the project cost into halves, thirds, fourths, and so on.
Do I have any guarantee for the website?
Yes, rest assured. After your project is complete. We provide a 30-day guarantee free major and minor bugs fixes policy. We want to make sure that you get what you paid for – a best-in-class brand and website experience to be proud of.
What if I can not continue the project for whatever reason?
No worries. We understand that sometimes “life happens”. All plans are covered by an escape clause which allows either party to discontinue the project at any time as a means of force majeure .

Any work in-progress or completed has usually been prepaid already in order for the next task in the scope of work.

If you decide to back out of the agreement after any work has begun. You will forfeit the entire 1st deposit and understand there is no refunds. Lastly, you also forfeit copyrights to any artwork, assets, and/or digital material created or shared with you.
Are refunds available for website plans or any services provided by AndThereWas?
No Refunds. Payments referred to herein shall not be refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to the termination to discontinue the project for whatever reason.
What about accreditation or promotion of any assets created for the website or brand?
Once project is complete, AndThereWas, LLC (‘Service Provider’) has the right to promote any design and development work for the client any positive way deemed necessary.
What about final project deliverables?
Client will be transferred copyright of work by AndThereWas, LLC (‘Service Provider’) at completion of the project at their request, when final payment is received for the project total balance. Any stock photography incorporated for any use other than the specific design will remain the intellectual property of AndThereWas, LLC (‘Service Provider’).

Any photography/ videography shot by AndThereWas, LLC (‘Service Provider’) will remain the property of AndThereWas, LLC (‘Service Provider’). However, the “Client” can request a release form to utilize the photography/ videography if necessary, for print or digital means.
What about the return of any property?
Upon the expiry or termination of this Agreement, the ‘Service Provider’ will return to the Client any property, documentation, records, or Confidential Information which is the property of the Client. In the event that this Agreement is terminated by the Client prior to completion of the Services the ‘Service Provider’ will be entitled to recovery from the site or premises where the Services were carried out, of any materials or equipment which is the property of the ‘Service Provider’ or, where agreed between the Parties, to compensation in lieu of recovery.
