✨ Martonomy Solutions: A Full Stack Overhaul and Giving a Face to Enterprise AI

by | Case Studies

Martonomy is a SaaS platform dedicated to “Taxonomy Harmony.” Led by Founder Love Hudson-Maggio, the company solves a headache common to every CMO: the chaos of marketing campaign data. Martonomy replaces error-prone Excel spreadsheets with a drag-and-drop cloud interface, seamlessly integrating with Salesforce Marketing Cloud to ensure campaign names and segments are consistent across the enterprise.

Project Framework & Capabilities
This case study maps the specific capabilities executed during this project directly to the studio’s proprietary framework, ensuring deliverables were systematic and de-risked at every stage. Learn more about the 5 D’s of Creation on the Our Process page.

The Challenge

Making Data Governance “Delightful.” Taxonomy is critical, but it isn’t naturally “beautiful.” Martonomy needed to bridge the gap between a dry utility tool and an engaging, investable product. The challenge was three-pronged:

  1. The Face: The AI needed a personality to feel like a partner, not a script.
  2. The Interface: The existing SaaS UI needed a “Delight, Design, Deploy” overhaul to prep for a critical Series-A style investment deck.
  3. The Footprint: They needed a high-performance marketing microsite to capture leads without the bloat of a traditional site structure.

The Approach

I executed a “Product Design Plan” that touched every layer of the user experience, utilizing a custom SDLC UX & UI Dev Optimization framework to accelerate delivery.

  • SaaS UI Revamp (Creative to Code): To meet aggressive investor deadlines, I shifted the process from rigid linear steps to ad-hoc UX/UI design and development. This allowed for rapid project UI development (without UI Design Comps), where I delivered production-ready HTML/CSS/JS directly. This “Unicorn” approach bridged the gap between vision and deployment, ensuring the “Investment Deck” visuals were technically feasible and ready for implementation.
  • Wix Microsite Redesign: I architected a premium single-page microsite to serve as a professional “digital front door.” Beyond visuals, this required deep SEO cleanup addressing, where I resolved legacy “website user cleanup” tasks, fixed CORS policies, and implemented a robust SEO setup to preserve domain authority and ensure the site ranked as well as it looked.
  • Personifying the AI (Avatar Creation): To humanize the technology, I designed a squad of custom SVG chatbot agents, assigning each a distinct visual identity and role within the platform:
    • Lana: The Marketing & Taxonomy Creation Partner.
    • Sammy: The GenAI Marketing Analyst.
    • Alex: The AI Help Desk Assistant.

Feature Spotlight: The Telecomm “Pseudo-Demo”

Closing the Imagination Gap. One of the project’s most critical deliverables was a sales enablement asset for a major Telecommunications prospect. The client needed to prove how the AI agents would handle complex customer service queries before the backend integration was fully live.

I engineered a “Pseudo-Demo Video” experience. Instead of a static slide, I created a high-fidelity visual simulation of the “actual process flow.” I designed specific UI states showing Alex (the AI Help Desk Assistant) diagnosing a connectivity issue and offering real-time solutions. This allowed the Martonomy sales team to walk the Telecomm executives through a “live” looking environment, effectively demonstrating the product’s logic and value without the risk of a technical glitch during the pitch.

The Outcome

Investor-Ready, Market-Live, & User-Friendly. The transformation turned a utility tool into a formidable brand. By delivering a polished SaaS UI via rapid project UI development, we directly supported the founder’s “Investment Deck,” providing high-fidelity visuals that proved the product’s maturity. Simultaneously, the Wix microsite launched with a clean SEO bill of health, establishing a secure “digital front door” for enterprise leads.

The introduction of Lana, Sammy, and Alex successfully gamified the user experience, transforming complex taxonomy tasks into conversational interactions. Martonomy now possesses a consistent design language that spans from their public marketing presence to the inner workings of their application.
